I usually have a small list of movies I want to buy in a month. Right now I really want to pick up Miller's Crossing, In Praise of Love, Contempt (One of the best movies of all time - anybody seen it?), and the Criterion Collection's Barbet Schroeder documentary on Idi Amin Dada.

I have Miller's Crossing on tape but have never watched it. My taste goes more for the "popcorn" movies but I do enjoy serious films. It's just that the "popcorn" films tend to get watched more.

Do you know my poetry?
For my DVD list for July:
Phone Booth
Friends the Complete Fourth season
Shanhai Knights
DareDevil
King of the Hill the complete first season

I can't say I do....I mean, if the special features stink (which most of the times they do) I just simply get the DVD screener. It basically comes down to the point of if there's a good DVD out or not.

I am having a nervous breakdance
I want Another Day In Paradise

They had temporarily escaped the factories, the warehouses, the slaughterhouses, the car washes - they'd be back in captivity the next day but
now they were out - they were wild with freedom. They weren't thinking about the slavery of poverty. Or the slavery of welfare and food stamps. The rest of us would be all right until the poor learned how to make atom bombs in their basements.

I'm not old, you're just 12.
I must find DVD's of the following movies:

Cannibal the Musical
Gangs of New York

i dont buy too many dvds but right now i'm very tempted to pick up the recent criterion release of robert altman's '3 women', starring shelly duvall and sissy spacek. if anyone who's actually seen the movie could give me their expert opinions it might push me one way or the other but i'll probably buy it anyway. i'm a big fan of duvall and have really liked everything i've seen by altman so far.

I would like to get any of the Futurama DVD sets, Equilibrium, Gladiator, and The Matrix.
