i saw this movie not a while ago, i personally like anabella sciorra movies, it has that intriguing atmosphere to it, either this or ""whispers in the dark" and the others, rebecca de mornay was a real deranged psychotic in this, i like her and her acting aswell.
rebecca here plays a baby sitter that enters a family's life in order to take the husband. she's very hot in some scenes here, we all know a couple of movies followed suite of the same plot later on, but this is where it started, the original movie.offcourse in the mainstream movies, no oscar nominations for any of the acting here, but the movie has a very nice pacing and compares a lot to fatal attraction, in the premise meaning.
there is something about 90s thrillers that keeps me coming back to them, the feel and the direction gives it some kind of edge to today's budget thrillers for example.
all in all, i'd give this a 8/10 for the plot and the thrills.
