Emmerich and Devlin were behind the original film which starred Kurt Russell and James Spader.

Good to know that the original team are behind it though, at least they can put it together without taking liberties.

Eh I'd be more excited by this if there was someone else doing it. I'm the ideal sucker for a Chariots of the Gods-inspired movie but even I thought Emmerich's Stargate was lame. Such a waste of a great premise. Never watched the show though.

Wow a reboot, those things are rare.
