Very obscure 80s movie. Had a release on LaserDisc.

This is a crazy long shot, but I'm trying to find a movie I watched a few years ago. It was some really obscure movie from around the 1980s. When I downloaded it, the only torrent available was a LaserDisc rip. I don't remember much about the movie at all except it was kinda psychologically-related, and there was a twist at the end where it turns out he's actually dead. The only scene I remember is that at some point the main character is in a large, brightly-lit room (like a therapist's office).

"The Sixth Sense" is a movie where someone suddenly turns out to be dead in the end... ?

Someone was able to identify the movie for me! It was The Lathe of Heaven (1980).
