unfortunately no.. i thought that it mind be The Rains Came, but i was wrong. I don't remember much from that film, but there was the flood i guees. I'm really sorry for my English, but I couldn't found any good forum, in my country

It's not Way Out East. but looking at that one from 1920, it seems the clip you have is from later in the decade.

You might want to try the imdb forum, I Want to Know. They have more eyes over there.

It could be from a movie serial. That would make it real hard to identify.

I googled rescued from river silent movie and all I got was Way Out East, which I thought of by myself and eliminated, and rescued by Rover which is 1905 and that is not from 1905 and where is Rover?

Yeah, maybe it is ome of those Leni Riefenstahl starring movies, but she is always up in the mountains.
