Once again all nominees were drawn out of a hat and matched up, with no ties in the previous round

Here's the match ups:
Blue Kite (Tyler1) vs Cries and Whispers (Hitchfan97)
Stalker (Mr.Minio) vs Andre Rublev (ThomasP)
Girl on the Bridge (Honeykid) vs Double Life of Veronique (Honeykid)
Sansho The Baliff (rauldc) vs Underground (Harrylime)

I'm pleased with how the match ups worked out, Tarkovsky vs Tarkovsky, HK nominee vs HK nominee, Underground vs equally popular Sansho, and Bergman vs Eastern Asia cinema

Voting ends January 3rd

The Blue Kite is a Chinese film, not Hong Kong.

Sorry if I'm rude but I'm right
I've only seen both Stalker and Andrey Rublev. Stalker wins.

According to wiki, it was filmed in Hong Kong and China, but I edited the original post

Well this is an easy choice for me, I watched both recently for the tournament, and GOTB was a very enjoyable and unique experience. Double Life could be one of the least connected to me film I've come across. Stopped it 40 minutes in, I couldn't anything appealing.

I don't see why not. Didn't you say you fell asleep during 2001:A Space odessey? Have you ever voted against it?

I mean I couldn't get into this at all, and I was trying

I try to rewatch every "classic/largely popular" film I dont get, and often I like it when I give it another viewing. But this it was truly the least connected I felt to the screen while watching a movie, ever

It took 5 attempts before I watched 2001 from start to finish and once, as you said, I did fall asleep. However, I have seen it from start to finish, which is why I vote against it.

I was just wondering whether that was the rule, as it is with the MoFo Tournament. If it was, then you couldn't vote against it. They're both my films and I'm still not sure which to vote for, so I don't have an agenda either way.
