I thought I had seen it, though I didn't until last night.

What despised me, the credits when you check out the cast.
One website didn't even mention Eva Marie Saint...****!

Such an incredible film. The performances, the writing...the very idea of it, really. The scene with the priest in the cargo hold is the one that always gets me. That's one of the greatest scenes in any movie, ever, and it's a brutal takedown of an entire culture of artificial allegiance that's probably as important as ever. And it's all the more potent when you think about what Elia Kazan was going through at the time.

I am burdened with glorious purpose
Yoda, it makes you wonder, doesn't it? I absolutely adore this film, especially that ending. Did Kazan want to do the right thing, but wasn't brave enough? Hmmmm.....Did he live vicariously through Brando's character?

One of my favorites of all time.

I coulda been somebody!

I think Eva Marie Saint did an outstanding job, actually. Great film that I need to see once again as I've only seen it twice.

Finished here. It's been fun.
This is such a brilliant, brilliant movie. I saw it recently and I loved every second of it. What a masterpiece.
