Waking the dead ritual?

I need help on the title of this film I've seen on HBO a few years ago. I think it's a horror movie. I vaguely remember some scenes. All I know is that it's about some kind of circle formed with stones(maybe not a circle). I guess it's some kind of ritual to bring back the dead to life. I remember the man placed a dead cat(or dog?) in the middle of the circle. The next morning, the cat's alive. His daughter and his wife also died (not at the same time I guess) and he was able to revive them. I remember at the end, the wife tries to kill him..

I tried to search for this my self but with no success. I just wanted to watch this movie again so I could move on. Lol
I believe some of you have seen or may recognize this movie. Thanks in advance..
