Does anybody know the names of these two movies?
1) Probably from early 90s, this movie was about a maximum security prison where all the prisoners were branded/tattooed with the letter P. A prisoner escaped and had to cut his tattoo off. Also, there was something about a prisoner's wife/girl friend sneaking into the prison and tattoing herself to pass as a real prisoner so she could break the guy out.
2) Not sure when this movie was from but the main character was in an old prison, maybe built underground. I think there were tunnels in it. The warden is very brutal and has all the prisoners very submissive. There is a scene where the main charactor's wife comes to visit and bail him out. Another scene where the main character starts to rebel and when all the prisoners are walking in a clockwise circle he walks the opposite way and the prisoners try to fight him because he is breaking the norm. The warden tries to molest the main character and he fights back and pushes him against the wall and the warden gets a wooden peg through the back of his head.
