I just recently picked up The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio with Woody Harrelson and Julianne Moore. This film made less than one million at the box office and I don't understand why. I thought this was a very solid and heartwarming piece of film. Harrellson and Moore both deliever wonderful performances as a married couple trapped in the lifestyle of the 1950s. Harrellson can't think of a way out and Moore knows numerous routes she can take with her talents, but is afraid to take any action because of the taboos she would be breaking. I hope this film can find a following on DVD. It really deserves to. Anyway, just thought I would throw that out there. Has anyone else seen it?
