Best Bond Movie?

Oh come on Dr. No is the "James Bond" theme. You can't pull that one it's in every movie.
Ahh, but I can and I did.

Ha, cool! My ringtone is the Twisted Nerve whistle from Kill Bill.

From Russia with Love
Hands down

Even just the title sequence of Goldfinger did it for me. The song was deep with meaning and speculation, and the body work of the "golden girl" set the stage for how we view Bond and his Bond women.

I prefer the modern Bond films starring Daniel Craig. They have a bit more of the grit that readers of Flemming's novels expect from the lead character. Can't stand the Roger Moore lollypop pieces.

What do you think the best Bond movie is? I'm thinking Goldeneye.
Dr. NO without a doubt!!!!!

Connery kicks ass in the bond series. But I'd have to say golden eye or casino royal, hard to choose honestly lol.

It has to be Goldfinger for many reasons, firstly it introduces the best bond car to date, secondly it has the best henchman and lastly its sean connery.
No comparison in my opinion.

Bright light. Bright light. Uh oh.
Goldfinger does get the job done, but so does From Russia with Love the year before. Besides that, the movie series is almost 50 years old, so if you don't include the non-Connery The Spy Who Loved Me and On Her Majesty's Secret Service, you've missed out, one way or the other.

The best bond movie is Casino Royale. I am a big fan of Sean Connery movies, but Casino Royale was just done better than the others. Didn’t have all of the explosions and crazy situations that Bond movies are known for and it worked. People I know that hate Bond movie even say Casino Royale is not that bad.

Miss Vicky's Loyal and Willing Slave
My top 3 Bond films

1. Goldfinger - The definitive Bond for me. It has the best Bond (Connery), the best car (Aston DB5), some of the series' most famous scenes ("No Mr Bond..."/ the golden corpse), one of the most iconic henchmen (Oddjob) and a great credit sequence/title song. Just perfect
2. Goldeneye
3. The Spy Who Loved Me

And I have to say I'm not a huge fan of Casino Royale. Having grown up on Bond films for me it just wasn't a proper Bond film. For me it was trying to be too much like a Jason Bourne film, just not as good.

So in my opinion it's not a proper James Bond film, nor is it as good as the film series it's trying to emulate. So I don't really see the point in it personally

Not again...

Please elaborate why it wasn't a proper Bond film.
