I remember this poster.

I am looking for a film, and the poster that goes with it. I never saw the film (as far as I know). I saw the poster I think when I child posted on the London Underground. This would have been in the 1970's, maybe early 80's.

Okay, the poster. It is of course possible that I am misremembering, or that I have somehow merged two or more different movie posters together in my head. The style of the artwork makes me think of Jack Davis, but it might just have been someone similar in style. I remember there was a building, and a male and a female standing in front of the building. All around it seemed like something like an orgy was in progress, with lots of men and women. The whole thing was a drawing (Jack Davis style), not a photograph.

I imagine the poster was probably better than the movie.

But the poster has stuck in my head. I would love to see it again, and I wonder what movie it was advertising.

Thanks for writing, but no.

I have now spent so much time on websites devoted to Jack Davis, without finding it, that I am pretty sure the poster I am looking for was NOT by Jack Davis. But the style of art makes me think of Jack Davis. Somebody maybe trying to imitate Jack Davis.

It's not Animal House. The poster I am looking for has lots of men and women in it. The women were mostly drawn more attractive, while the men were drawn more cartoony. There were a lot of drawn bare female breasts. (Although Jack Davis did sometimes draw attractive, sexy women, I haven't found ANY poster of his that actually has a bare female breast. Another clue, I think, that this poster was not drawn by Jack Davis)

Sometimes there were different posters when films were released in different countries. The poster I am looking for I saw in England. In London, on a wall in the London Underground (the subway, or mass transit system). All sorts of movies were advertised this way at the time, including porn movies. If the movie was anything like the poster, I would guess that the movie was porn. But maybe the poster exaggerated, and the movie wasn't really porn.

I still haven't found this. This is still bothering me.

That might be a good lead. I have been browsing those posters, and some (particularly for comedies) have a very similar style to Jack Davis. But I still haven't found the one I am looking for.
