Movie sequel

Trying to find the name of two movies.The original was made about 10 years ago I think and a sequel was made about 2 years ago maybe. I believe the genre was like a campy western that was maybe comedy or sci-fi. They had to get new actors for the sequel for some reason I think. Does that ring a bell with anyone?

R.I.P.D. (2013) ? It has a sequel entitled R.I.P.D. 2: Rise of the Damned (2022) , so perhaps it is your forgotten movie :-)

I would say it was more along the lines of a campy western mixed with science fiction or humor.
