Best & Worst Films Of 2011 (So Far)

Seeing as we are close to Oscar Season, I thought we should get a roundup of Best/Worst films so far.

I don't think I've even seen ten films this year. Super 8 and Unknown are the best, I'd say.

I'm really terrible at these sort of things because I can't remember what films I've seen that have release dates of this year. It's weird, in ten years I'll remember what films came out this year, but right now I can't remember most of what I've seen that was released this year. That said:

13 Assassins
Super 8

That's about it. I had fun watching X-Men: First Class even though it filled me with rage. And I had fun watching Captain America, but it filled me with even more rage. I can shut off my brain (to a point) and enjoy the spectacle of these films, but they really make me mad with how lousy they actually are.

I think I've seen about 20-25 films that were released in 2011 and I have to say that on the whole I'm rather dissapointed about the quality. I remember that a lot of the 2010 films I really liked were already released by the same time last year.

I'll save my entire list of best and worst until the actual end of the year.

Hm, didn't get a chance to see Cowboys vs. Aliens yet. Wasn't too crazy about the whole them, but heard it was good. Since it even was a top movie for you, I have to watch it one of these days.
