Red means it's probably in my 'no holds barred' Top 100. Blue means yeah, I'm all around and into it (and all over it and really like it.)
Light green means I've seen it. Dark green means I may have seen it, but I've forgotten most and need to see it again to be any kind of judge.

Latest Review : Le Circle Rouge (1970)

That is a great list. There is about a dozen I haven't seen and probably a handful I either didn't like or wasn't a huge fan of, but that's me. I do acknowledge I'm in the minority in most cases.

The trick is not minding
Alphabetical, I see. Seriously, it’s not a bad list.
There’s a lot I like, a lot I love, and some not so much.
But at least there’s no Star Crash in there

Those movies rule, as far as I can tell. Sorry I kind of forgot what the thread is about.

Oh, and I’ve seen 71/100 by my count.

In that case, I'd wager that there are at least 10 or so of the 29 you haven't seen that you would enjoy quite a bit.

Sorry if I'm rude but I'm right
It'd be cool to have them in ranked order. Or at least a ranked TOP 25.

Look, I'm not judging you - after all, I'm posting here myself, but maybe, just maybe, if you spent less time here and more time watching films, maybe, and I stress, maybe your taste would be of some value. Just a thought, ya know.

Pretty good list. Plenty of great films and plenty of really good ones as well. I'm curious what your top 10 among those would be.

That's a tough call.

In no particular order I guess,
Memento (brilliant structure)

No Country for Old Men (existential gut punch)

When Harry Met Sally (pefect little romcom)

Pulp Fiction (Quentin's Best)

Blade Runner (my #1)

Monty Python and the Holy Grail (funny AF)

Raiders of the Lost Ark (Lucas and Spielberg at their apex)

The Thing (Carpenter's most mature work)

Fellowship of the Ring (such a good set-up)

Lawrence of Arabia (gotta have at least one true epic)

Sorry if I'm rude but I'm right
When Harry Met Sally (pefect little romcom)
I still haven't seen it, as I dislike most American romcoms.

I don't blame you. I count this one as one of those rare gems, a film that just works (e.g., Back to the Future, Ghostbusters) almost perfectly. The people who made it couldn't do it again, even if they tried (e.g., Back to the Future II, Ghostbusters II). I think Princess Bride is in this group. Lightning strikes from time-to-time and this rom-com can't be denied, IMO.

I've seen 78/94. The 16 I haven't seen are...

Black Death
Conan
Dead Zone, The
Duellists
Fisher King
French Kiss
Fright Night
Krampus
Name of the Rose, The
Patterns
Revenant, The
Ridicule
Salton Sea, The
SLC Punk
Star Trek II
Team America

A lot of great stuff here. Thanks for sharing?

please feel free to make me feel inadequate for my plebeian taste.

My list has nine Harry Potter movies on it.

The new season of For All Mankind revealed Kubrick finished this project in that world. I wonder how his version stacks up.

There are some good ones in there. I'd recommend, at least, The Salton Sea, Ridicule, The Name of the Rose, Fright Night, and Fisher King.

I just realized this list doesn't have Godzilla: Final Wars. It's clearly a bad list because of that.

I watched A.I. last month and loved it. Fair criticisms could be made for its final act, but though I likely would've been satisfied with it being removed, I think it brought the fantasy v. reality themes together in a really bittersweet way.

I know I saw Fright Night, probably a bunch of times, when I was a kid, but I barely remember it.
