IMDB turned off the "by year" filter, so now I cannot simply find out for something like this.
Get Letterboxd, its way better. You can also import your IMDB ratings to it so you don't have to rate everything you've seen again

No love for Forrest Gump?

Booo.
I think of Forrest Gump the same way I do Good Will Hunting. Both are FUN movies to watch, but neither imo should be considered great movies. Considering that 94 had movies like Shawshank, Pulp, Natural Born Killers, Quiz Show, Leon, Speed, Ed Wood, ect... I don't really think Gump stacks up to those movies.

But it's definitely a fun watch.

IMO, Forrest Gump is the best movie of all time.

1990: Edward Scissorhands, Miller's Crossing
1991: Only yesterday, The silence of the lambs
1992: Aladdin, Porco Rosso
1993: Groundhog Day, Carlito's way
1994: The Shawshank redemption, Pulp Fiction
1995: Whisper of the heart, The bridges of Madison County
1996: Trainspotting, Beautiful girls
1997: Princess Mononoke, Perfect Blue
1998: A simple plan, The thin red line
1999: American Beauty, The sixth sense

I feel like I need to revisit this decade in depth. In my early years of movie-going I was quite into it but now I rarely watch 90s stuff.

without mentioning any movies, all i think is 90s>2000s>2010s, way way better movies

1990 - Arachnophobia, Total Recall
91 - T2, Silence of the Lambs
92 - Ghostwatch, Cutting Edge
93 - Jurassic Park, Last Action Hero
94 - True Lies, Leon
95 - Clueless, Die Hard With a Vengeance
96 - The Frighteners, Mars Attacks
97 - The Man Who Knew Too Little, Mimic
98 - Show Me Love, Halloween H20
99 - 10 Things I Hate About You, Sleepy Hollow

I believe we already have something that covers this--and the last few threads you posted.
