No love for Forrest Gump?

Booo.

I think of Forrest Gump the same way I do Good Will Hunting. Both are FUN movies to watch, but neither imo should be considered great movies. Considering that 94 had movies like Shawshank, Pulp, Natural Born Killers, Quiz Show, Leon, Speed, Ed Wood, ect... I don't really think Gump stacks up to those movies.

But it's definitely a fun watch.

Made one edit - in 94, I took out Pulp and added Fresh, which might be the most underrated film of the 90s.

IMO, Forrest Gump is the best movie of all time.

I feel like I need to revisit this decade in depth. In my early years of movie-going I was quite into it but now I rarely watch 90s stuff.

Forrest Gump ain't that good, and even if it was it'd be perfectly okay to like other movies more than it.
