Man, I seriously have to put myself together and watch Rififi. I think this is the third time I'm either asked or made aware of the movie.

Good choices again, roy!

You've got to have rep for Jaws. Nice to see it on something other than a horror film (which it's not as far as I'm concerned)

You should...I'm not much of a fan of film noir, but this, I felt, was special...

25. The Bad Sleep Well (1960) - Akira Kurosawa

24. The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999) - Anthony Minghella

23. The Eye of the Needle (1981) - Richard Marquand

22. Doubt (2008) - John Patrick Shanley

21. Rebecca (1940) - Alfred Hitchcock

20. The Silence of the Lambs (1991) - Jonathan Demme

19. El Cuerpo/ The Body (2012) - Oriol Paulo

18. Z (1969) - Costa-Gavras

17. Insomnia (1997) - Erik Skjoldbjaerg

16. All the President's Men (1976) - Alan J. Pakula

I like SotL, but I think it's very overrated. Rep for Insomnia and All The Presidents Men They're wonderful films and All The Presidents Men is on my 100 favourite films.

15. Vertigo (1958) - Alfred Hitchcock

14. The Skin I Live In (2011) - Pedro Almodovar

13. The Revolution Will Not Be Televised (2003) - Donnacha O'Briain & Kim Bartley

12. Misery (1990) - Rob Reiner

11. Dial M For Murder (1954) - Alfred Hitchcock

As it's Vertigo and Dial M.... I don't know if this is the end of the Hitchcock or just the start of his dominance.

I really liked Misery, but it's something I'm slightly unnerved to see again. I've had The Skin In Live In recorded for a year or two now and I've still not watched it.

Sadly, there are two more

You surely can guess...

10. The Insider (1999) - Michael Mann

9. Chinatown (1974) - Roman Polanski

8. Gone Girl (2014) - David Fincher

7. Rear Window (1954) - Alfred Hitchcock

6. Seven (1995) - David Fincher

Great set, suprised to see Gone Girl this high... not that I complain, I really like it myself too.

I'm not sure if I have seen The Insider, probably not. I know it's a classic thriller, I should probably get around it.

Anyways, can't wait for that top 5!!!

5. Memories of Murder (2003) - Bong Joon-ho

4. Memento (2000) - Christopher Nolan

3. The Shining (1980) - Stanley Kubrick

2. High and Low (1963) - Akira Kurosawa

1. Psycho (1960) - Alfred Hitchcock

Naturally I think Memories Of Murder is sooo overrated. I was so surprised to see that people thought that was fantastic. I liked it. I'd recommend it to people. But it never occurred to me to tell anyone about it.

Like Memento. Hate The Shining. Haven't seen High And Low, while Psycho is on my 100, so that's a brilliant choice, IMO.

Congratulations on finishing your list SR.
