Sinopse:

Cinematographic adaptation of the book by the Russian brothers Strugatsky, famous writers of the science fiction genre, with some works adapted by the well-known director Tarkosvky.

In the case of this film, the director was German (from NATO's West Germany) Peter Fleischmann, under strong objections from the russian writers Strugatsky brothers.

The film is correctly equated with the deepening of a philosophical episode in the Star Trek series (TNG, Voyager or Enterprise), as it explores the concept of the primary directive, of non-interference in primitive extraterrestrial cultures.

Trailer:

The Strugatsky brothers, both deceased.

I read the book and watched the Aleksei German film a while ago, but had no idea there was another version. I liked the 2013 movie for its off-the-wall style, but I’m interested in seeing a more narrative-driven version considering the unique premise, and that trailer looks very good. I’m on the lookout for this.

Good watch
