Will how people are helping the strike effort affect the awards? With all the politics that surround the Oscars and the Baftas it's hard to imagine that the Writers' Guild Awards will be any different.

You're a Genius all the time
I dug Knocked Up a lot and like everybody else I'm a pretty huge Apatow fan - But how much of that script was, you know, scripted? Does the Writer's Guild look at something like that? Apatow himself admits most of the comedy comes from improvisation on the part of his actors. How can he get nominated for this award if his script is so vastly different from the final product?
