Woah, woah, woah. You needed extra space on your list so you could proudly include frippin' Commando and Tango & Cash?!? What's at number twenty, Cobra?

I really hated that one, one of the most worst films i'd ever seen.

The topic was top films of the 80's right? not the worst films of the 80's?

Oh hey, that could be a new thread.

I do not understand the bad rep the 80's get when it comes to movies, and other things for that matter . Anyway I remember my 80's cinematic experience being filled with coming of age pictures: Stand By Me, The Outsiders, Breakfast Club, Radio Days, etc...

The list above me includes many of my favorite films, so again I ask: Why the bad rep?

I got for good luck my black tooth.
Because so much of the 80s was quite cheesy (clothes, music etc...) People just assume that everything from that decade was corny and lame I suppose. Before anyone attacks me, I didn't say that all 80s music was cheesy or bad. Just most of it. Keep in mind, something can be cheesy and still fun/good at the same time cough*Duran Duran*cough.
