The most cool looking car is from the movie The Wraith with Charlie Sheen.

I just know they're coming to kill me.
Wow... this is an old thread. I don't know if it's the first, but... well, here was the last post date (I copied it):

Apparently, Sid here only made 5 replies. Whatever happened to him? Anywho, best car in a movie, since this is what this thread is all about, would have to be:

1. DeLorean (Back to the Future)
2. Ghostbusters Car
3. Batmobile
4. Jurassic Park Jeeps
5. James Bond Cars

There could be more, but this is all that I could think of.

Keep on Rockin in the Free World
So.. I'm watching the Rockford Files last night, and see a Pontiac Firebird Station Wagon!!!.

Yes, thats right you read that correctly. It being California i just figured it was a wild custom ride.

From stationwagon.com: "The 10/1/98 issue of Old Cars magazine has a short article (pages 23-24) on an experimental 1978 Pontiac Firebird `shooting brake` station wagon. Constructed for GM by Pininfarina, they were dropped from production plans because of their projected $24-25,000 price tags (in 1978 dollars). There were evidently two running versions constructed - one Firebird, and one Trans Am. It had two `gullwing` doors that gave access to the rear cargo area. The Firebird was crushed by GM, but the Trans Am survived to be upgraded to 1979 specs and taken on the show circuit again.

The Type K Back in 1970-71, Chevrolet entertained serious thoughts of bringing out a production Camaro station wagon. Preliminary development went along jointly between Chevrolet and Pontiac, but the project faltered when the two divisions couldn`t agree to use interchangeable doors on the Firebird and Camaro. The original Firebird Type K was done in 1977 under the direction of GM executive designer David R. Holls. Studio stylist Jerry Brockstein did much of the detail work. The first type K (for Kammback) was conceived on the base Firebird, not the Trans Am. Early prototypes were built of fiberglass. Since production in this country seemed out of the question, GM Design vice president William L. Mitchell met with Italian coachbuilder Sergio Pininfarina and arranged to have two metal-bodied Type K`s constructed for show purposes. In late 1977, Pininfarina delivered the twin wagons -- a silver one with a red interior and a gold one with a natural beige interior. These were 1978 cars, later converted to look like 1979-80 models. At one point, Pontiac and Pininfarina checked into the possibility of building Type K`s in Italy or in a special U.S. plant. These limited-production customs were intended for the American market at a list price of $16,000. Convertibles were also contemplated at that time. However, inflation and other costs soon raised vehicle price to $25,000, so the plan ended up on the shelf. The Deco International Corp. of North Hollywood, Calif., began building Type K replicas in May 1980. Conversions cost about $15,000 and consist of fiberglass over a steel framework. Side windows raise electrically on gas cylinders.

Here, There and Everywhere
Six year bump, good effort Dexter.

I've always liked the cars from the Fast & Furious series.

Also, Frank Castle's Pontiac GTO in The Punisher (2004) is pretty sweet, armour shutters.

Sorry Harmonica.......I got to stay here.
Amen on that Caitlyn! My HS years were reflected in this movie, and back then I wanted a Chevelle SS so bad! When I could borrow it though, THIS was my ride....

However, I did put racing stripes on it, and with 60hp I couldn't exactly burn rubber, I could give a chirp from time to time....

all the James Bond movies ofcourse

Ronin has an Audi S8 in it and in one scene one of the guys can be heard talking about how he will need bigger fuel injectors in order to run nitrous.

Gone in sixty seconds for sure, one of my favorites.

How about Bad Boys with will smith and martin lawrence where rich kid will smith's character drives a 1994 Porsche 911 turbo 3.6. One of the drug lords in the end rolls out his old shelby cobra and both cars race down an airstrip.

How about fast n furious haha, toyota supras, rx7, eclipse, etc, all turbo of course, and there is also a 60's challenger in it.

The italian job has some modified minis and an aston martin vanquish.

Starky and hutch, the new and old one have a sweet torino in them.

Oh, bad boys II has a ferrari 550 maranello in it and a lame hummer h2 that gets destroyed.

If you are a car guy definitely check these out.

My Name is Jerry has an awesome car!! old school charger!! Just came out on DVD stars Doug Jones (Hellboy 1&2)!

I think it's safe to say all the James Bond 007 movies have a few cool Aston Martins. Most recently one of the Aston martin DB9 from the 1964 Bond movie was sold for over 4 million USD, originally purchased in the 60s for like 16k, it's just unreal.
