The most violent movie I've ever seen is...

Tools

I've seen most of the films mentioned; the old cannibal films, Ichi, Irreversible, I Spit on Your Grave, etc. The only 2 that bother me as a 40yo guy are Casino(baseball bat scene) and Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer(family murder). There's a strong feeling of realism in these that bothered me.

Sit Ubu Sit.... Good Dog
^ I was watching Visitor Q with my mouth hanging open trying to figure out what the F**k was going on, still a great bizarre movie to watch.

Missed the first one, but Hostel 2 I thought was quite disturbing, especially when the torturer gets the tables turned on him and has his, um, junk ripped off. Yikes! Although he had it coming.

The previously mentioned Lone Wolf and Cub (The Babycart Films) for sheer volume of blood-letting for the entirety of the films. Although I was raised on Monty Python cartoon-like violence, and these films had that sort of violence with geysers of blood, I still love these films due to the Assassin and his young son killing bad guys together.

I've seen some violent and bloody films but Wolf Creek would be the film that hit me quite hard.
Some of the stuff is simply just sick. Makes you wonder who writes these things.

Men behind the sun is pretty much out there, also I thought I saw the devil was violent, but done in a clever way, I've also heard that slaughter vomit dolls is violent and a serbien film, but not seen those yet. I'm currently going through all the Korean films at the moment, they are miles above anything hollywood is making, even the harder ones to watch are a beautiful experiance visually an emotionally.

Good to see you are a fan of Korean movies. Check out my Favorite Korean Movie list on search. You may find something to your liking.

I just watched True Romance for the first time. It had some pretty violent scenes. Though I agree with Irreversible. That was hard to sit through.

I will do thanks for that cinemaafficionado an I am a massive fan of them they are amazing movies an I really can't praise them enough. I was also reading hollywood are making oldboy (oh nooooooo please don't ) but if you believe anything that's writen most of the actors who were asked to take the lead part won't touch it with a barge pole. Haha least there's a small amour of integrity.

^ It's official that Spike Lee is directing the Oldboy remake with Josh Brolin in the lead. I don't believe the villain role has been cast. Elizabeth Olsen is number one for taking the female lead - she confirmed that she has been to meetings about the role.

Finished here. It's been fun.

Lone Wolf and Cub movie series

Wolf Creek had some very violent scenes made worse due to their being based on true events.

^ Wolf Creek is loosely based on a number of things around Australia but nothing directly like what happens in the film. It's a plot influenced by a number of stories.
