Actor Tyler Christopher, who had a bit part in the 2000 Steven Soderbergh classic Traffic, appeared on several television shows, was married to Eva Longoria from 2002-2004, but is perhaps best known for originating the role of Nikolas Cassadine on the ABC soap General Hospital, a role which earned the actor three daytime Emmys, has passed away this morning at the age of 50. His official cause of death is undetermined at this time, but has temporarily been classified as a "cardiac event." The actor had been dealing with serious battles with depression and alcohol for the last decade or so.
