Favorite Horror Film

This was how my top 10 looked when I did my horror list a few months back. I'm not sure how much have changed when it comes to the top ten films, but I do think The Conjuring and the Insidious films would be just a little bit lower, though I still love them immensely, mainly because it's horror after my head. I also think The Fly would be higher, since my last watch of it made me love it even more.

It is a very suspenseful thriller movie, and it involves a few serial killers who do really disgusting an gruesome stuff. If you think Hannibal and/ or think gruesome killings are horrific to you....then yes it can be horror film.

An American Werewolf in London, Silent Hill, Pan's Labyrinth, Psycho, Dog Soldiers, Evil Dead trilogy, Dawn of the Dead 2004 remake (original is great as well) Night of the Living Dead, The Shining (desperately needs a re-watch though) Antichrist, The Thing and Underworld are the first that come to mind.

It is about a serial killer who eats people and another one who skins women to make a women suit. It is a horror movie. I didn't find it in the "Thriller" section of Blockbuster growing up.

Just because you found it in the wrong section doesn't mean it's a horror.

That's strange, I always thought it was a romantic comedy...

Well, Jaws and Silence of the Lambs have always been the two highly debatable films when it comes to whether they are thrillers or horror movies...

Jaws must be horror, it has a shark in it!

And horror can be more then just slashers and monster movies.

Se7en as well... but they are good solid thrillers imo
