Inception (Christopher Nolan film schedule for early 2010)

I'm loving it lovin' it lovin' it. What does you guys make of the poster? I'm only going to see this final trailer that comes out next week and then nothing else. I don't want to know much about this film by the time I have seen it. Not even TV Spots if I can avoid it.

The water stuff is interesting..

Hmm, dunno. I think there'll be a really visually striking image like the one on the poster, where DiCaprio's character is stumbling through a semi-flooded city. I'm sure it symbolizes something (the inherent murkiness and difficulty of what they do?), but given how little we actually know about the film, I wouldn't assume much else about it.

I'm with you on keeping the information sparse. I won't be able to resist a big trailer, but beyond that I'm going to avoid every plot synopsis, if possible. Nolan's films, more than others, benefit from going in cold, and I'm really starting to think a lot of otherwise good films are ruined by the lack of same.

That's what I was thinking. Could be the money shot of the film. Or even a taste of other sorts of crazy stuff to come.

Got to ask though Yoda how do you feel about the fact that it's not being shot with IMAX cameras but there is this big fuss about it being remastered in IMAX. It's a step backward for Nolan from a techological standpoint, imo. I mean if this film's budget is that big, then surely they would have shot footage with IMAX, right? It just doesn't make sense. I'd understand if Nolan had done a smaller picture, but this is going to be grand scale.

28 days...6 hours...42 minutes...12 seconds
I'm thinking of doing what I did with AVATAR and go in completely cold. (Aside from the opening teaser).

Inception's Official Plot Synopsis Revealed

Today Warner Bros. released the official Inception synopsis:

Acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan directs an international cast in an original sci-fi actioner that travels around the globe and into the intimate and infinite world of dreams. Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb’s rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible—inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. This summer, your mind is the scene of the crime.

OK bad jrs why do you do that. That was the beauty of it all the mystery around the film even the trailer doesn't give you much and you spoil it bad jrs bad bad :P

well I still havent read the plot synopsis, but admit it if you havent read the synopsis you wont have a clue what's about event the trailers dont give you enough info to spoil your movie, unlike lets say Iron man 2 which had 3 trailers and probably over 10 TV spots and when I went to see it well to be honest it was everything from the trailers
