Vengeance of Mine wasn't my best nom nor my worst. It's so well made but it's a tough movie to love.

A Moment of Innocence was in my 6 to 11 mix. It ended up as my #8.

A Moment of Innocence is what I would consider a great student film
Vengeance is Mine was better on a second watch....a film that finished eighth was not and I put it just over Tomboy.

A Moment of Innocence was my last place vote, sorry! I just don't get the appeal of the film. The ending for me was like, is that it?

The Promise was my 4. I thought it would be top 3.

The Promise was 8th on my ballot.

Of course I predicted #6 to be #1 lol. I had The Promise at #4.

I thought The Promise might win as it seemed people really liked it. I liked it too. I had it at #8

I still think Anomalisa is winning.

So Okay had it lower than 4th? That's a surprise.

The Promise has me really wanting to check out more of Jean-Pierre Dardenne and Luc Dardenne's work.

I saw Rosetta recently and would recommend it. It's also really good.

I had actually forgotten to rank it and at nine is where I had Adams Apples. To me the film was just generic and the worst of the coming of age films. I find that is a common theme when watching Dardenne films.

So the promise was short 3 points then? Or no
