First concert I went to was... The Brothers Johnson in 1977-78ish.

Nothing really funny…but I do still get a kick out of ribbing my husband about taking me to a Steven Stills concert once. He may never choose concerts for me again.

It depends on the type of party it is.

Dinner parties...
...soft, pretty background music like...Keiko Matsui, Secret Garden, Norah Jones and other jazz and new age music I have that’s great to listen too without distracting conversations.

Girls night get together....
...anything from Josh Groban, Seal, Bill Withers, Faith Hill and Joss Stone to trying something new out on each other like Four Bitchin’ Babes.

Slumber party for my daughter...
...disco, 80’s and 90’s dance music.

Yes...I wasn't really looking foward to it, but...it was during our first year dating. He used to love C,S,N & Y and wanted to see him. I should have told him to go with his buddies instead...but I was still in that silly, starry eyed 'in love' mode. "Sure, if you really want to see him...and want me to see him, I'll go."~ Silly me.

You're right about Steven Stills alone....he was awful. He tried to play some of their old songs but went into jamming (I think that's what it's callled) and you couldn't even recognize the tune (or words) after he started. The weird thing was, his groupies around us (hard to believe he had some) were all saying wonderful things about how great he was. I think they all (including Stills) must have been on something.
