Aye. I suppose it might have been a little too subtle; when I think of "modern thought," I think of thoughts about frivolous things more than an absence of thought, but I agree, it's still pretty ironic.

Further irony: I temporarily misspelled "frivolous" while writing this, before correcting myself.



Interesting. Modern thought as it progresses is progressive in modern times.

Or in other words..very interesting.

Define "modern." 20th century? Post-industrial revolution? That would be my first question.
