yep. howard the duck! sooo disturbing! :P

Yeah there is something quite disturbing about that film. Not sure what it is though.

Hello,

Robin here. I am new. Just picked thread up as a start. For me the most disturbing movies:

Ring (I just couldn't get that girl with long hair out of my mind for a few days)
Requeim for a Dream
Natural Born Killers (I totally hate this movie as well)
Donnie Darko

Schindler's List was a disturbing, but good movie, but I really think that there are an awful lot of people out there who really need to be disturbed and shaken up.

The Town, in a way, because it elicited sympathy for Doug and, ultimately Claire, who, btw, turned out to be no angel herself, since she abetted Doug by lying to the Feds about who he was to cover his a**, refused to write him out of her life even after learning the truth about who he was through a picture of him shown to Claire by FBI Agt. Frawley (who'd learned of Doug and Claire's relationship through a recorded telephone conversation between them), and tipped Doug off to the Feds' presence in her Charlestown condominium when they were literally on the verge of nabbing Doug and sending him to prison for a long time.

Gloria: Gloria, which starred Gene Rowlands as Gloria was a good movie, funny at times, but downright sadistic, as well.

"A film is a putrified fountain of thought"
Antichrist. 100%.

I kind of pride myself on being able to detatch myself from gore in movies. While most chicks squeel at any drop of blood on screen, I usually just find myself critiquing the consistancey of it. But even though I've seen movies that would probably be considered more disturbing than Antichrist (Salo, Human Centipede), Lars von Trier managed to psychologically connect me to the gore I was watching on screen like no other movie's been able to. I have great respect for this movie and it's definitely a film i'll always remember, even if I never have the guts to watch it a second time. I don't think I'll ever recover from that scene...with the scissors...and the snipping....

-Old Boy
-I just saw trailer of Salo (120 Days of Sodom) and it doesnt look disturbing as the women are too pretty, it looks cheesy

human centipede

Well, what is disturbing really?
Porn? Violence? Utterly dis-moral? Strongly prejudiced inference? Or opinioned deadly to one's opposite?

i was in the movies- kinda
million dollar baby bummed me out

Human Centipede

Is white trash beautiful
Audition immediately springs to mind....
Ya I just watched Audition and for the first hour I'm like what the hell is every one talking about this film isn't disgusting then I watched the last 50 Min's and gotta pretty disturbed I almost did not finish it.Yucky

For me it was Silence Of The Lambs. All it was, was blood and guts and not much else. Everyone says it is a classic but not in my book. After I saw it, I wanted to go and jump in front of a train or take a good shot of rat poison. It was the most depressing movie I have ever seen.
