The Biggest Oscar Cliches

Nothing but it is a cliche now. She's a good actress but I don't consider her to be as great as the academy thinks.

I don't see how a straight actor playing a gay character is an Oscar cliche...how many Oscars have gone to straight actors for playing gay characters over the years? I would agree though that an attractive actor playing an ugly or deformed character and Streep doing one of her many variations on an accent are definite Oscar bait.
