Superbit?

Hey, I've heard they are re-releasing Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Desperado, Air Force One, Johnny Mnuemonic, and The Fifth Element as "Superbit" DVD's? Can anyone tell me what these are?

Is it worth upgrading my CTHD, Desperado and Air Force One to Superbit?
