Some great choices here, most of which I've had on my radar for too long... like Bicycle Thieves, Breathless, and Ran.

After watching Late Spring last year and loving it, I bumped up Tokyo Story in my personal queue, so it's good to have it here also.

I've heard a lot of great things about Sansho the Bailiff, especially here. A lot of you gush about it often, so great.

The others, I'm not that familiar with, but looking forward to them. Thanks to all.

High and Low (1963)
I was hoping for Kurosawa films. This is one of his Noir films that don’t usually get the same recognition of his Samurai films. Very happy.

Demy musical. Heard about this ages ago. Should be interesting as well.

You're in for a treat for the first two since they came in, respectively, Second and First in the Japanese Hall of Fame.
And Umbrellas took first place in the Foreign Language HoF which, for a musical, says a lot.

I'm going to try to watch everything here that I haven't seen. Besides what you guys picked for me it's only a few. I wanted to watch as much foreign from the lists as I could anyway with the countdown coming up.
