Hello there,

I remember that I saw a movie in post-production on imdb and the description was similar to this one "Some wise man gives 10 tips on how to create a crime organization from scratch". Maybe this movie is released already, I am not sure. Thanks indeed for help.

Because in America there is a popular series of do-it-yourself manuals that are "_____ for Dummies", be it Home Repair for Dummies or iPhone for Dummies or Personal Finance for Dummies, etc. There's a competing series that is the "Complete Idiot's Guide to _____".

Holden, for a moment there I seriously thought you were kidding. But I guess not!

Thanks for that priceless piece of information. I'm sure even the folks out in Timbuktu are familiar with that series

Meanwhile, what I was actually referring to was the use of the word ''Dummy's'' rather than ''Dummies''.

I think he was suggesting it was copyrighted phrase so the poster had to alter it.

The books run in UK as well, quite well known, far as I was aware.

Yup, I was familiar with the copyright issue. In fact, it was there in the cinemablend.com link I'd posted earlier. But even those guys aren't too sure! Here's what it said...
Now for that title. The Variety article uses the proper spelling of the word ‘Dummies,’ but a number of other sites are going with ‘Dummys.’ If the latter is the film’s actual title, I guess they’re going for an Inglourious Basterds effect. Or maybe the For Dummies book series has an issue with the film borrowing the denomination. It does sound a bit like what a book-to-film adaptation of Crime Ring Managing for Dummies would be like.
