Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon

Wait, do you mean make one link to Bacon through both names or make separate links? I'm thinking it might be fun to have to use two actors making one link to Bacon, what do you think?

Wasn't quite what I had in mind, which was just purely name 2 random actors and they have to be linked without having to go 'via Bacon', but if you want to give it a go with a 'via Bacon' link, guess we can give it a go.

It's just that we are still then in a position of doing it as degrees to and then from Bacon, which means each time having to cite 2 Bacon movies, when it is already getting a little tedious using the same links/movies repeatedly. But can give it a go and see how it goes...

That is what I was assuming Gideon was suggesting we do, despite as I pointed out above, the same issue arises of the same links/films being recycled repeatedly.

It would be just better to name 2 actors to be connected within the 6 steps, with NO 'via Bacon' link.

OK, this is different than what we were doing, but I think Understand her now...link one actor to Bacon and then link Bacon to the 2nd actor, correct?

I would suggest that we just name 2 actors without the necessitty of being via Bacon links. As both Holden and I have pointed out, going via Bacon is just going to see us use and reuse the same links/films repeatedly anyhow.

So literally just name 2 actors and have 6 steps to connect them, without Bacon needing to be involved at all (unless by choice)
