The funniest farce film i've ever seen is 'The Silence of the Hams' with Billy Zane, and Dom DeLuise. I've never laughed so much at this comedy based on films such as Silence of the Lambs and Psycho.

Animal House is probably the funniest movie I have ever seen though.

Funnyist movies I've seen:

Monty Python and the Holy Grail

UHF

Robin Hood Men in tights

Bowfinger

Happy Gilmore

all the austin powers movies

lesly nilson is Wrongfully Acused

Blues Brothers

Theres probaly more but I can't name them all right now

really really good list. Wrongfully Accused is just hilarious all around. You ever seen Blazing Saddles? If not, watch it! Holy Grail is the second funniest movie ever, Blazing Saddles is the funniest.

Napoleon Dynimate
Half Baked
AllScary Movie's

Ace Ventura 1 and 2. Those are a couple of just a few movies that when i first viewed them, had me drenched in sweat i was laughing so hard.

My favorite movie of all time is The 'burbs, which is a comedy so yeah...

****in' A, man. I got a rash, man
Funniest Borat moment?

Borat goes for an audition for a play at the Chelsea Studios New York City. He tries to land the part by acting out a scene from his latest film in Kazakhstan. Borat evidently played a Kazakhstani detective called "The Locust".

Anyways funniest movie for me is The Big Lebowski

When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end..."

My top 5 favorite comedies are as follows:
1. Annie Hall- The dialogue does it here.
2. The Big Lebowski- Could move up to be number 1. Rewatchable and quotable as hell.
3. Dr. Strangelove- Classic satire.
4. Ferris Bueller's Day Off- Not necessarily the funniest of all films, but certainly a movie that I've seen more than any other and still laugh at.
5. Chasing Amy- This has some drama to it, but I think its primarily a comedy, and a very funny one at that, with some great dirty dialogue thats pretty clever to boot.
Other greats: Clerks, the Monty Python films (the best being The Meaning of Life in my book), Groundhog Day, and Dazed and Confused. Out of silent comedies, I believe Sherlock Jr. and The Gold Rush are the tops.

Have to say Young Frankenstein.

Other comedies i liked:
Dumb & Dumber
Freddy got Fingered
Mallrats
Spun (comedy/tragedy?)
