Superman: Man of Steel

If my local cinema isn't showing 2D... I can't see it.

Not only won't I pay to see 3D because it doesn't work, but I physically can't see it anyway... half blind in one eye.

it can be done. oh yes, it can.

And u will.

Out of the cinemas I listed that are showing the film in 2D, the nearest one is 150 miles away.

I live on £100 per week mate, out of that I pay £80 on bills alone, I don't drive and a train ticket to get from here to the nearest cinema would be around £80...

Man Of Steel will have to wait.

£15 per month for a rubbish connection... why do you think I'm always on about my internet not working and having to wait for access to videos.

I have to budget extremely carefully, I play pool once a week too... anything like going to the movies, buying a new pool cue (which I need to do soon after I broke my current one), Birthdays, Christmas... all needs to be carefully planned and saved for a couple of quid at a time.

Man Of Steel, only accessible by travelling 150 miles by train, £80 ticket fees, possible taxi too to get from train station to cinema... then the fee for the cinema ticket as well will cost me well over £100 altogether... can't do it.

I just hope my local cinema do release it in 2D, I can walk to my local from here.

i dont mean to pry into your life story, but yeah id think getting a job might be a prudent move.

Henry Cavill was considered the unluckiest man in Hollywood some time ago. He auditioned for Superman Returns (for the role of Clark Kent/Superman), Casino Royale (for the role of James Bond) AND Batman Begins (for the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne). I hate to say it but I've seen a couple of films with him in the lead role and as far as The Man of Steel is concerned, I'm not sure he can quite live up to it. Time will tell.

I really hope this movie is great. I like the first Donner film but it's pretty dated at this point. It's been over 3 decades since a good Superman movie was made.

i can't wait for this movie

I can't see those posts you put up Rodent, they just come out as white squares to me, is there some other way of viewing them?

Rodent, I don't think you are doing the video option properly. Last two things you put up are not showing.

But yes, I've seen the latest 'Fate of your Planet' trailer, looks excellent.

Managed to screengrab these from the recent trailer... would have uploaded from photobucket but it's down for some reason.

Can't quite make out what's going on in the first one, looks like a train station of some sort...

The second one is interesting though... Heat-Vision!!!
