Best foreign film of all-time

yes, i've seen those movies. I had to leave out so many. Like, tie me up, tie me down, that movies is great! have you seen cinema paradiso? I cry at the end every time, so touching!:bawl:

Being a Serbian, I was force-fed with Kusturica until exhaustion point. I'm not too fond of the director - but Underground was decent...correction, it WOULD have been decent if it lasted a reasonable 120 minutes. This way, it bogs down somewhere at the 100 minute mark and just drags on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on...

Better example of our glorious cinematic output might be Pretty Village, Pretty Flame (Lepa Sela Lepo Gore), available on DVD worldwide. Or anything <1990. you can get your hands on, sans partizan war films which served mainly as communist goverment propaganda.

Ha ! Someone else who's a fan of Kingdom...man, I'm really dreading the Stephen King remake for the US cable TV.
