Tv couples that should have been

Ive tried to search for it and couldnt find anything so hopefully im not double posting.

It can be either couples that broke and didnt get back together before the show ending

or couples that you think should have been but never got together

I`ll start off with my top one:


Shane & Carmen- The L word

Shane and Carmen were a couple for two seasons and a fan favourite. They were engaged to be married,however Shane left Carmen at the atler and could never get her back after that.

*in reality Sarah Shahis (carmen-now on person of interest) contract ran out and she was written out of the show

I usually don't care about stuff like this but i think they should have just kept Robin and Barney together in How I Met Your Mother. Most people complain about the ending and while it was terrible i am more pissed at the two seasons build up to those two getting together before they get divorced like an episode later, in the future but still.

Monica & Richard-Friends

Allthough,I like Monica and Chandler,i definitly think Monica & Richard should have stayed together.
their age difference and messy relationship (he`s friends with her father,she`s dated his son) made for some great comedy and awkward situations.They also both loved eachother enough to get through the critiscm of their relationship.

i never really seen how i met your mother,apart from the two episodes with Britney Spears,but i did notice alot of people were unhappy with the finale.which is a crappy way to leave a show thats been the successfull for so long!

Sarah Jane and Peter Dalton



This was a tragic one as they both clearly loved each other very much, however it was not to be as Peter was a dead man who was offered a deal by Sarah Jane's arch nemesis The Trickster. In Pete's World maybe it worked out though.

I kind of agree with this one, not necessarily about Richard but i don't think Chandler and Monica should have ended up together, at least not as early as they did. I liked them together but Chandler is my fave character and i felt he was a lot better before he was with Monica. I liked Monica with Richard but i'm not sure how they could have stayed together for eight more seasons without him becoming a regular cast member which was obviously not going to happen, think they'd need to get them back together in Season 9 or 10.

Emily & Aiden- Revenge

The whole series is surrounded around characters Emily and Jack-he`s the obvious good guy next door. and the show was clearly written for them to end up together in the end. however when Aiden came along all that changed,whilst jack was the boring goodie two shoes,Aiden knew all about Emilys revenge plans and took part in them.

Man, i hated that show. Watched the first season with my gf, and thought it was pretty atrocious heard it just got worse from then on as well.

Chandler is my favourite character aswell,he was definitly funnier before they became a couple.
i wouldnt have mind him just coming back for the last episode and them getting together then-just as along as they wound up together lol

Revenge had potential imo,but was way too soapy-and there was some horrific acting by some of the cast who honestly never should have been cast! and yes it did get worse as time went lol

The acting was bad by every single cast member IMO. I was stunned when i found out Madeleine Stowe was getting positive reviews, i thought she was horrendous. I usually try to sit stuff out my gf wants to watch but i honestly couldn't take anymore of her botoxed face trying to emote/move.

Kelly & Brandon- Beverly Hills 90210

The 90/00s were all about Dylan,Kelly and Brandon! Which would she pick? on her wedding day to Brandon,at the alter,she decides that she choses neither! she chooses herself (whatever that means) and the wedding is called off. Leaving my teenage heart in shambles.

*in reality Jason Priestly (Brandon) was sick of his image as a goodie good and left the show. Has since said he regrets it and agrees with me-Brandon & Kelly should have stayed together.

The Sarah Jane Adventures. The actors are Elisabeth Sladen and Nigel Havers.

She was defo the worst one as well as her onscreen husband. i dont know who they are,i would have guessed that they came from a daytime soap? it was really bad and annoying. I thought the main actress was good though.

I actually thought her husband was the only half decent one. The actress who played Emily was really bland and robotic i thought, and made some pretty hilarious faces.

Thats prob cos you didnt see that last seasons As his storyline got bigger so did his acting

Ray & Lisa-Sister Sister

My favourite tv parents! Ray and Lisa unknowingly adopte a twin each,whorun into eachother as teenagers. they all decide to move in together,which does not go as well as hoped due to Lisas free spirit and Ray being rather up tight.after years together they finally become a couple. but for whatever reason they writers decide to break them up,and Lisa marries someone else in the last ever episode.

Chris and Herbert - Family Guy

This photo is what should have been between the duo, it's just Herbert has a lot of insecurities and can never fully reveal how he feels about Chris in fear of prejudice and discrimination. I think people should look past Herbert's attraction to Chris and realise how charming and sensitive he truly is, so both he and Chris can find happiness after all!

Damn, that's dark CiCi . One of the very few episodes of Family Guy i liked though, love the song.
