Thanks for the rating PN, the only one I'm surprised about was the matrix, I thought you would have been your sort of film.

I guess I'll also rate TNBT's list, since he posted last.

1. The Prestige 6.5/10--I liked it enough. Far from Nolan's best though.

2. Blade Runner 8.5/10--Awesome. One of Ridley Scott's best.

3. Alien 9/10--Even more awesome. An even better Ridley Scott film.

4. The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 8.5/10--The only one on your list on my Top 100.

5. The Matrix 6/10--I see why it's great and people love it, but I don't really like it.

7. American Beauty 5/10--I do not like this movie, though it's not bad.
8. American Psycho 7/10--I loved Bale in it, but I think the movie was only good, not great.
6. Star Trek 7/10
--The new one? I loved that movie.

9. Lucky Number Sleven 6/10--I guess it's clever and stuff.

10. The Green Mile 5/10--I hate this movie.

Overall, I like your list. Especially 2, 3, and 4.

Welcome to the human race...
I waver - it's one of a handful of films that I am honestly not sure whether I've seen them or not. I think what happened was I was in a class at the end of the school year where a teacher put it on and I was watching it while Net-surfing. Didn't find out what it was till much later. Still a little tentative about counting whether I've seen it, but it definitely gets at least a
.

ha, i wish i'd had a class where the teacher played that film. the closest i got is my hs history teacher playing matewan which was my introduction to john sayles, probably my favorite director as a teenager.

Welcome to the human race...
As I recall, it was more his idea of a joke as the intended audience were about 13-15 years old (I was 17 and just using a computer in the same room). One of these days I'll watch it for real.

You don't have any.

For some reason I get the sense that you've been drifting away from this place. Say it ain't so.
