I can think of many movies at sea but a couple of my favorites are:

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World
Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
(Kirk Douglas rules!)

Has anyone seen Mutiny on the Bounty?
Do you mean the one starring Clark Gable? Or the one starring Marlon Brando? Or the one starring Mel Gibson? There could be even more films--probably at least one silent version--that I've left out

Just about all of the above except Pirates of the Carribean, I thought those movies were kind of silly and unrealistic. A couple more are Treasure Island, the Disney version fron 1950 or so and Tora Tora Tora.

Might as well add Life of Pi to this thread, a very good film

Also from this year, although a lot of the action takes place in interior areas, Captain Phillips.
