About a lass whose ex-courtesan mother groomed her to becoming a courtesan after her lover had left her due to class difference. Later the town suffers a plague which they had believed was a curse upon them as a result of a defiled land and decides to convict every courtesan for witchcrafty. also every married man that had been sexually involved with any courtesan needed to be prosecuted alongside his mistress.
