How to start a film company?

I have my screenplays which i have had no luck with agents to get out for me or with me in that matter. So I want to start my own film company, I know it will take some hard work and some cash and maybe some freinds, but what else would I need? I have a camera I got for christmas and my gf will be the camera person so I'm good there and I also have access to a few places for editing and such and even might have a computer guy that can do the cg scenes, but has anyone else done this or thought it?

That's pretty much all you need. Just storyboard it and shoot it.
