I am surprised to see Annette Bening (Running With Scissors) & Chiwetel Ejiofor (Kinky Boots) nominated, but very happy for them.

Since when was DEVIL WEARS PRADA a comedy?

I didn't think it was a comedy. Someone please clarify!

Are u serious?
If it was a comedy, I didn't find it at all funny. Well, some parts I did but overall, I didn't get a comedy vibe off of it.

Well, it wasn't Borat funny, it was more like... laugh at how ridiculous this rich, bossy woman's demands are. An-dre-ah, get me a steak, get me the new Harry Potter, get me my coffee, don't take longer than 5 minutes. Har har.

That's just it -- it wasn't hilariously funny. It would be like calling Borat a documentary.. it kinda is but it's not.

Johnny... It's your 3rd time for Oscar. Heartily hope you will get something back...

Huh? These are the Golden Globe nominations, not the Oscars. I seriously doubt Depp will be nominated a second time by the Academy for playing Jack Sparrow. But we'll know for sure in a few weeks.

As for his Golden Globe track record, this is Depp's seventh nomination, having previously gotten nods for Edward Scissorhands, Benny & Joon, Ed Wood, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Finding Neverland and Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. He has yet to win a Golden Globe award.

I am not seeing "Kinda a Comedy, But Kinda Not" in the list of categories...

I'm happy to see Emily Blunt nominated, she was great. I can't figure Meryl Streep getting a nod for this, except that it's a 'favorites' award. She didn't have anything especially demanding to do in that role. :/

Thilled to see Will Smith in the list and surprised at the absense of Eddie Murphy.

I will be quite astonished if Beyonce Knowles actually gets the Best Actress Musical/Comedy award. Dreamgirls was a good movie, but Tonie Collette was so much better in Little Miss Sunshine. Which, by the way, has my vote for Best Picture Musical/Comedy. Im suprised Steve Carell wasn't nominated for his amazing role in it.

All I can say is that 95% of the Golden Globes sucked !!! I was only happy with two of the winners at the least. Sacha Baron Cohen was NOT one of them, he didn't even deserve to be nominated.

You ready? You look ready.

I think his acceptance speech explains why he deserved that award.
