Sons of Anarchy

That was a reply to Only to you, but then that's what happens when people edit things in after someone has posted a reply to the original post.

Edited what?
What we have here is a clear failure to communicate
I didn't say that Sons Of Anarchy was the first biker movie of note ( your understanding of my meaning for Godfather )
I said that they were the Godfather of biker movies making the analogy
to the violence and intrigue of Godfather, which Easy Rider in no way qualifies.

Should see SoA. No point dropping Criminal Minds, though it's not exactly something you have to pay attention to, so can easily be interrupted by something else. Easy Rider is definately the Godfather or Biker films. No, it's not a biker gang/organised crime film, therefore not "The Godfather" of biker films (which is what I assume CA is getting at) but then, SoA isn't a film.

As for "The Godfather" of Biker films. Maybe Hells Angels Forever or Stone? The only other one that comes to mind is Stone Cold, which is just sad. There's lots of 'violent bikers' films, but I can't think of many organized crime biker films.

I will one day, I don't like interrupting the flow of watching a television series, got films to watch also. So will see Sons of Anarchy after as I will watch them all in one flow. More interest in Criminal Minds, love crime series mixed with psychology.

An Auto-Bot that reviews movies....
I've seen bits and pieces of this show. No idea which season each of the episodes were from though. There was some really solid acting in the scenes I saw though, but the show itself has never been something I've been willing to sit down and give a really good watch. Nonetheless, definitely has some amazing potential which the writers seem to be putting to great use.
Game of Thrones has been stealing my attention. Haha.

Don't dig yourself deeper into the Godfather hole.
Now that's really funny, as you seem to be inside my head and are going to clarify what I actually don't mean , besides the fact that you haven't even seen the series I'm talking about. Now, maybe I got it wrong and you have the patent for the name " Godfather " in which case I surrender ( just don't shoot please )

We moved on about 8 minutes ago.

Maybe Hells Angels Forever or Stone?
Haven't seen Stone, but added it to my rental queue. If you haven't read it, I recommend:

Hell's Angels by Hunter S. Thompson

I have most everything he's ever written, but thank you kindly for your reccomendation.

Am I the only one who thinks the show went a little wonky this last season?

let's recap:

WARNING: "spoliers?" spoilers below
1. the porn star went nutso. so did her hubby...who im beginning to accept is really dumb guy.
2. the doctor chick is still shacked up with Jax - yet unmarried, because he hasnt bothered to put a ring on it - and now, her livelihood is gone. So if Jax jets, well, she screwed. Cue the hospital administrator's "I told you so."
3. What's up with the race war? REALLY????
4. What's up with that whole conversation between Chibbs and Juice about racial heritage? You are whatever is on your birth certificate? SERIOUSLY? This dude is having an existential crisis, and Chibb's pop psychology is "you are what it says on your birth certificate?" Wow Chibbs. Juice is asking, "Is the club still racist? or Is it ok that I'm black?" To which Chibbs replies: "Just say you're white." Thanks for the non-answer - or rather, the resounding YES to first question. Oh Juice, back in the closet you go.

I think I might have to sit the next season out, because after Tig murders the boss's girlfriend in cold blood (which, handily, is the SECOND lady he's murdered on bad information) - I'll probably end up rooting for the Niners.

Hey - whenever you want to cover up your own bad behavior - here's a novel idea: just blame the black guy(s). How.....1950s of you.

I've been smashing through this and just had the wake in S5. The preceding episode was great, huge tension building up to it and one of those 'oh how'll those pesky bikers get out this situation' nicely turned on it's head. Perrinau is making an interesting antagonist.

General thoughts, S2 - great, disappointing finale. S3 - bit wonky but great finale. S4 - best Season but the CIA reveal was bit too convenient to take them cleanly out the hole
