With the way the season is going, I don’t see any clear contender yet. Wide Right, WtLB and The Clowns will be 5-2 after this week, if the scores and predictions hold up as expected, but there’s too many questions with each team. Last year I started 5-2 before injuries to my RB and lack of a decent WR brought me to a 7-7 finish. I was lucky to make the playoffs. Raul was 5-5 at one point. Any team can get hot suddenly.
This is especially true with the glut of 4-3 and 3-4 teams that are vying for the 4-6 playoff spots. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few of vying for those spots go on a big winning streak to secure a spot. You don’t even have to be a high scoring team to get there (I wasn’t last year).
