Which animated dinosaur movie is this?

All I can recall is a scene where a young dinosaur maybe with a friend is running through a desert or a field of grass being chased by 3 other smaller dinosaurs, maybe a pteradactyl but then I think they run into a brother and sister bigger dinosaur who help them? Or maybe they were hyenas chasing them or might just be following them - I could be blending a couple of movies together. Any ideas?

edit add** also the smaller chasing, or following dinosaurs were kind of tricky or slick in the way they talked, eyeing them as food or something.

It is long series of animated movies and every movie is independent story, so it is very possible.

I'm thinking it's from the original movie not the series - if it is that one.
