Samurai gets lost in the USA.

Hey,

I remember watching this movie a long time ago, it's set in modern times(70s,80s,90s) not a western.

As I recall a samurai or a ninja gets lost in a big American city, he does not speak English and gets into troubles along his way and wrecks some havok... as I recall in the end he gets shot by the police.

I'm almost sure this is not the film it barely works with what you are saying but could it be Blind Fury I doubt it.

Rutger Hauer is a badass though, love that guy!

This still sounds like it could be a Sho Kosugi flick even if it's not Blind Fury
