Is Maximum Risk (1996) underrated?
I watched it again after not seeing it for a few years and it still holds up better than I expected.
But this movie is never talked about and it seems so much better written than the average action...

King may have dismissed the film as a "moron movie", but coked out of his face or not, part of me believes King secretly is proud of Maximum Overdrive.
Iroquois
Maximum Overdrive - based on the short story "Trucks" about (you guessed it) trucks that come to life and start terrorising humans - is not without its charm.

Like with a lot of Steven King adaptations, you know the story is going to be good, you know there is going to be some wonderful characters and you know there's also going to be some dark comedy and Maximum Overdrive delivers all of this. .
