Favorite Album Cover

Everyone has a favorite album of course, but that doesn't always mean that the album has great cover art. And sometimes the opposite is true.
There have been some really good album covers through the years, and just because the medium has gotten smaller doen't mean the impact of a good piece of art on the cover has.

Here's one of my favorites:

Blue Oyster Cult is always good this time of year.

"Don't fear the reaper, baby take my hand, don't fear the reaper, baby I'm your man..."

On a similar note, one of my favorites is from Oysterhead:

Nice covers Slay. I particularly like the Reign in Blood cover of Slayer's.

They had temporarily escaped the factories, the warehouses, the slaughterhouses, the car washes - they'd be back in captivity the next day but
now they were out - they were wild with freedom. They weren't thinking about the slavery of poverty. Or the slavery of welfare and food stamps. The rest of us would be all right until the poor learned how to make atom bombs in their basements.

I am so happy to be a part of this forum, where you guys actually get the point of this thread. I thought for sure someone would post a picture of their favorite album, thereby missing the whole reason that this thread was created. All of you here are so wonderful because you can see art and can be moved by it. Every album cover posted here is brilliant; the richness of colors, composition and overall emotional impact. OK, enough sentiment; post more albun art!
