Movie finale with airplane engine sound?

Hi folks,

I hope someone can help me with this, it's driving me nuts!

I have this image in my head of a movie finale ending on an airport, in which the tension is built up by suddenly switching the view to a turning aircraft of which the engines start roaring loader. Eventually the danger (whatever that is, can't remember) is no more and the airplane turns off, you can hear the engine noise slowly dropping in pitch. I don't think the action actually takes place inside the aircraft, it's more of a device to beef up the tension of that scene, although the departure of the aircraft seems like something that needs to be avoided.

Does this ring a bell with anyone? Any help is greatly appreciated!

That elusive hide-and-seek cow is at it again
Gosh. Can you narrow down any more with some added details? For example:

Year you think you watched it
Decade it might have been released
Anything about characters (race, gender, nationality, etc.)
Genre of movie
Anything plot related
Language of movie

Otherwise it's still a shot in the dark. Die Hard 2, Bad Boys maybe? Game Night, The Langoliers...

Right now its pretty much any movie with an airplane, unfortunately. Got anything else to throw in?

Casablanca - Elsa & Victor on the plane - will the plane get stopped and they get captured? Plane takes off and engine sound fades away - Rick & Louis walk off into the foggy night
